The Visions Magazine Annual Amateur Photo Contest is now underway.

The Amateur Photo Contest is open to all readers of all ages who meet our difinition of "Amateur". For our purposes, an "Amateur Photographer" is anyone who makes less than 5% of their annual income through photography.

This years categories are: 1. PEOPLE, 2. PLACE and 3. THING. Contestants may enter one (1) entry per category. All entries must be submitted by mail in a 4x6 format in either Color or Black & White.

Each entry must be accompanied by an official entry form. (Photo copies of the entry form are welcomed)

All Entries are to be received by Friday, October 16, 2009.

By submitting your entries, contestants permit Visions Magazine to publish their photos for local promotionof the contest. Photographers retain copyright to their images. (All prints submitted become the property of Visions Magazine. The magazine assumes no responsibility for loss or damaged photos.)

Entries will be judged based upon photo content and print quality. Judges decisions are final. Winners will be announced in the October ‘09 issue of Anderson County Visions Magazine.

Cash Prizes include:
1- Grand Prize Winner will receive $100.
3- First Place Winners in each category will receive $50.
3- Second Place Winners in each category will receive $25.
